Victor, New York (May 1, 2001) - BioWorks, Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement with Tierra Associates as its manufacturers representative for the sale of BioWorks' patented, EPA-registered biological fungicides based on the hybrid fungus Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22. Tierra Associates will support BioWorks' network of distributors with their sales of RootShield® Drench and RootShield Granules, along with BioWorks' most recent addition, NemaShield™, a beneficial nematode for the non-chemical control of fungus gnat larvae.

Tierra Associates, with its headquarters located in Carlsbad, CA will support BioWorks' products in California and will be supported by BioWorks' Regional Sales Manager Cameron Smith.
