Victor NY, 17 Dec 2001-Plantshield HC™ is the new name for the reformulated foliar-spray or root-drench application fungicide from BioWorks, Inc.
With twice the active ingredient of its namesake PlantShield™, the HC formulation is a wettable powder that easily forms a stock solution for dosing a water stream via an injector. Plantshield HC may be used to protect all fruit, vegetable, and horticultural plants from predatory fungi.
PlantShield HC is labeled for the following pathogens:

Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, Thielaviopsis, Cylindrocladium, Botrytis, Powdery Mildew, and Downy Mildew

According to Todd Woods, technical research manager at injector manufacturer Dosmatic, of Carrollton TX, Plantshield HC is easily injected through its Advantage brand dosers, using a standard 140-mesh filter.
